Dr. Miller is board certified in ophthalmology and has cared for the eyes of
thousands of patients. She specializes in laser vision correction and
has performed hundreds of surgical and laser procedures. She also routinely
performs a number of ophthalmic techniques including no stitch, no needle cataract
surgery, refractive procedures, strabismic surgery to straighten crooked
eyes, glaucoma surgeries, and plastic surgeries of the eyelid such as
blepharoplasty and droopy eye lid repair. Many of these procedures can
be performed at a surgical suite within the office.
Total and complete patient care is Dr. Miller's main concern and
objective. She treats all of her patients with the utmost respect and compassion. She
always takes the problem and concerns of her patients seriously and will
never make them feel like an inconvenience. She strives to deliver the
best
possible medical and surgical eye treatments available. In addition to caring
for the eyes of those she examines, Dr. Miller also educates her patients
about their particular conditions.
Dr. Miller has published several papers in
peer reviewed journals in
ophthalmic literature. She has also presented research in both
national and international meetings. She has been actively involved in the education of residents and
medical
students. Dr.
Miller is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has
privileges at JFK Medical Center.
